1/ install a ICA client on another computer 2/ copy the file folder%Program Files% Citrix to the computer with the problem 3/ uninstall - successfully this time - the remaining Citrix client. Hope this helps if somebody face the same problem. The Citrix developers have – finally – released a tool that can help many admins with deploying the Citrix Client in their environment. The Citrix Receiver CleanUp Utility should remove traces from all previous versions of the Receiver and also older versions called Citrix Online Plugin.

HiCouple of things to try (unless I have missed something from the OP):1) Logon with any other account and try and access Citrix apps, if it's a brand new profile to the machine, even better as you will be able to confirm if it's a system wide issue or localised to the profile.2) If it's system wide; download a copy of the Citrix Receiver cleanup utility and run it as a local or domain admin from the command prompt.3) If you already have a copy of 4.2 then reinstall as domain admin. Avoid doing a run as from a users account. If you absolutely need a copy of 4.2 and do not have one then have a look under the legacy components section of the downloads section which is where most of the Receivers seem to end up.
